Teknoware has been supplying a wide range of interior lighting systems for commercial vehicles, and emergency lighting systems for public premises and ships, since 1972. We have a leading position as a designer, developer and manufacturer of special lighting solutions, meeting the customers' needs, whatever the market.
Our headquarters and main production facilities are situated in Lahti, Finland. In order to meet the requirements of local vehicle interior lighting markets in the USA, we also have a production unit in Connecticut. We have all the main manufacturing processes for electronics and mechanics in-house, to ensure a high quality and precise delivery times. Over the years, Teknoware has manufactured millions of electronic inverters and LED drivers, which can be found in trains, busses, ships and buildings, around the globe.
GLOBAL PRESENCE:
In addition to our partners, operating in more than 30 countries around the world, we have our own sales offices in the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Malaysia and Sweden. Teknoware products can be found in over 50 countries worldwide.
CONTINUOUS QUALITY DEVELOPMENT:
We take pride in our high and consistent quality. This is guaranteed by our continuing emphasis on quality development and our strict compliance with the ISO 9001 quality system and the ISO 14001 environmental management system. Every year we have several audits by our customers and third party auditors from certified bodies.
In 2011 Teknoware was granted the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) Certification Rev. 02 covering the sales, development and manufacture of inverters and lighting systems for railway industry. The IRIS, set by the Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE), is a quality management and assessment system for the railway industry based on the ISO 9001 quality standard.

TEKNOWARE IN THE MIDDLE EAST:
Teknoware Middle East FZCO is the regional office of Teknoware OyY and is responsible for the promotion, sales and marketing of Emergency Lighting Solutions in Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific region.
Established in 2008, the office is ISO9001 certified and serves as a center of excellence for Teknoware in the region. Manned by a team of dedicated sales and customer service professionals, including design and estimation engineers, we have the ability to provide you with proper and timely information on all aspects of design and product selection helping you stay on schedule, in compliance to the local standards and regulations and within budgets on our project.
As with any life safety product, emergency lighting solutions give rise to very specific needs that place a significant burden on the building operator. At Teknoware Middle East FZCO, we have the expertise to advise you on the latest standards and regulations, ensuring compliance of your installation.
We offer a wide range of support services to ensure your lighting installation meets not only basic operational and safety standards on day one, but will continue to do so throughout its lifetime.
